Default Pathfinding Beta in The Wastelands.

PATHFINDING IS NOT LIVE YET! I WILL UPDATE THIS WHEN IT IS!

According to the email sent two days ago, there's a good chance pathfinding will come to the estate in the next day or two. (ETA Thursday?) I asked the residents in Hambone Slash if subjecting their region to the Pathfinding beta was okay, the majority of everyone voted, and every vote was yes.

We will be subjecting the region Hambone Slash and the homestead Kronbelt to the Pathfinding beta. I have set up a sandbox parcel that has auto return set to 2 hours, and the infrastructure land has been bumped up to 30 minutes. Feel free to make your pathfinding following characters and take them for a walk in Kronbelt and Hambone Slash. Please do not create a small army, or anything too region taxing.

A list of known issues from LLs email:
    • The collision pipeline has been reorganized. This may affect avatar collisions/control, vehicle movement, and collision callbacks in LSL scripts.
    • Significant changes in how we represent terrain (as a mesh shape instead of a heightfield) may result in fast vehicles snagging and small objects tunneling completely.
    • Objects which fall into terrain at moderate to high speeds (e.g. dropping a 50cm physical box 6m into the terrain) can become embedded in the terrain
    • Sitting on an object that is chasing you with llPursue() cancels the action
    • A child prim set to physics shape none cannot move in permanent objects
    • Avatars don't jump high enough, and are playing the 'falling' animation upon descent in the pathfinding regions
    • Mesh objects (exluding attachments) cannot move from pathfinding sims to non-pathfinding sims via region crossing. This is a fundamental limitation with all Havok upgrades and will not be fixed before release.

If you break the region, CONTACT A DEV!!
The Fool is the spirit in search of experience. He represents the mystical cleverness bereft of reason within us, the childlike ability to tune into the inner workings of the world. The sun shining behind him represents the divine nature of the Fool's wisdom and exuberance. On his back are all the possessions he might need. In his hand there is a flower, showing his appreciation of beauty. He is frequently accompanied by a dog, sometimes seen as his animal desires, sometimes as the call of the "real world", nipping at his heels and distracting him. He is seemingly unconcerned that he is standing on a precipice, apparently about to step off.

Pathfinding happened, then it made the region laggy, then it didn't happen.

We were pulled from the beta because of poor region performance. Too many dynamic objects or something. They may put us back on at a later date.

Kronbelt is on the pathfinding beta.
